Jerry Donovan appears at Comedy Clubs & venues throughout the country and is an audience favorite for his quick wit and uncanny observations.  Clean combined with an edge that reflects his upbringing and outlook, JD connects with crowds as the laughter resonates throughout the room. 

He is truly a show not to be missed and always remembered.    His talents have taken him to movie sets with Kurt Russel, sharing the stage with Larry "The Soup Nazi" Thomas and has appeared on Comcast-On Demand and at The World Famous "Caroline's" in New York City.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Mo. the son of an Irish Catholic beer brewer JD was destined for a career in comedy from the earliest days of making family, friends, neighbors and classmates laugh at his antics and hijinx. A Graduate of The University of Illinois-Springfield where he paid for school with his prowess on the soccer field while earning a B.A. in Business Management.  

JD has combined his background, education and experience for a unique perspective on Life and all it involves.  A penchant for writing has enabled Jerry to be published in various newspapers over 65 times and has also had contributions published in Sports Illustrated and A.A.R.P. Branching into the world of movies is the next step as JD is a contributing producer for the soon to be released comedy "Off Hollywood." 

JD also produces & appears regularly at 4 Michigan venues--Coral Gables Comedy Club in Saugatuck,  The Crazy Horse Comedy Night in Rockford, and The Park Theatre in Holland &
The Black River Tavern in South Haven.

The shows are amazing and feature National Headliners who have appeared on Comedy Central, HBO, Showtime, Bob & Tom and Sirius Satellite Radio.   Get a group, gather the friends, come celebrate that birthday, anniversary, first date or special occasion.
